Bluetooth refers to a wireless technology that helps in exchanging
data over short distances at a high speed. The chip can be plugged
into mobile phones, laptops, and digital cameras. Interestingly,
Bluetooth, developed in 1994, is named after the tenth-century
Danish king Harald I bluetooth who unified Denmark and Norway.
Skype is a software application for communicating with other people
over the Internet using video or voice calls and sharing text messages.
It was founded by Niklas Zennstrom of Sweden and Janus Friis of
Denmark in 2003.
With the idea that ordinary people would enjoy sharing their
home videos, the YouTube website was launched in 2005. It
was founded by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim,
three former employees of the e-commerce company PayPal.
Kindle is a handheld wireless electronic device for reading books,
magazines, newspapers, and other written material. The device that
has the size and weight of a trade paperback book was first released
by e-commerce company Amazon in 2007. Kindle uses a display
technology called electronic paper, which produces a sharp screen
image that resembles text printed on paper.
